Merck invites students to join the Future Talent Program at the West Point, PA site for up to 12 weeks of hands-on internships in vaccine manufacturing. Qualifications

Candidates should be pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical, Biomedical, Biological, Computer, Electrical, Packaging, Mechanical Engineering or related science.
Lean six sigma knowledge is preferred.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and project management abilities are required.

Responsibilities

Participate in vaccine manufacturing operations projects across multiple teams.
Support/lead investigations, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives.
Assist in equipment/ facilities design, maintenance, and construction activities.
Contribute to continuous compliance with cGMPs and quality standards.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration to improve yields and reduce cycle times.
