Overview

The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company’s vaccines, as well as education and resources. They assist with reimbursement information and contract adherence to help providers or systems increase immunization rates among appropriate patients and protect them from vaccine-preventable diseases. The VCR is the primary point of contact for a variety of customers within their assigned geography, including health care providers and office staff across clinics, health departments, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals. The VCR collaborates with the local Customer Team and other field-based colleagues such as the Vaccine Key Customer Leader (VKCL), Vaccine Medical Affairs Leader (VMAL), and Region Medical Director (RMD).

Responsibilities
  • This is a field-based sales position responsible for the Toledo, Ohio territory. The ideal location to reside is within this territory. Travel varies based on candidate location within the geography.

  • Engage in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs with our Company’s vaccine attributes in accordance with product labeling, and CDC and professional society recommendations.

  • Provide vaccine management updates to customers to help them improve patient health outcomes, capture customer feedback, monitor marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.

  • Share customer insights by staying informed about professional and healthcare environment knowledge through self-study of company-provided information, attendance at workshops and conferences, and review of promotional materials.

  • Utilize analytical tools to engage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contract to maximize contract performance across the Company portfolio.

  • Assist customers with education to improve their organization’s immunization rates through quality-based programs using tools such as Vaccine IQ.

  • Monitor business performance against objectives using company-provided tools.

  • Develop a territory-level business plan focused on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in line with Company policies, standards, and ethics.

  • Maintain product knowledge and certification on the full Company vaccine portfolio and knowledge of the CDC immunization schedule for pediatric and adult vaccines.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Within select customer accounts, act as the primary point of contact, meet with key personnel to understand current practice structure, business model, and key influencers, and identify immunization needs for which information may be provided to relevant stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with the customer team to outline customer strategy for interactions aimed at improving immunization rates.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • S1 level: Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years of Sales experience or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific fields (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices).

  • S2 level: Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of Sales experience or a high school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in the same areas.

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers in-person and for company meetings (local and national).

Additional Information

Salary and Benefits: The salary range is $104,200.00 - $163,900.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement (401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. Work Model: U.S. Hybrid Work Model indicates three on-site days per week for office-based roles, with Friday remote, subject to business needs. Field-based roles require on-site presence as applicable.
