Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00 hourly

Job Overview

The Pediatric Center for Wellness is seeking a dynamic Vaccine Administrator to care for our patients. This role will support the Care Team and will be responsible for recording vaccines in the patient's chart using the GRITS system and providing emotional support for patients and families when needed. The ideal candidate is interested in a long‑term opportunity and willing to work with a team of dynamic healthcare providers. The position offers a supportive work environment under new leadership.

Responsibilities

• Record vaccines in patient charts and in GRITS
• Provide emotional support for patients and families when required
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure, administering injections) and document patient charts
• Monitor vaccine protocols and processes for compliance with Vaccines for Children
• Give VIS sheets
• Assist providers and medical assistants with vaccine administration

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Experience in a pediatric office setting
• Proper administration technique of vaccines
• Working knowledge of pediatric vaccine schedule
• Knowledge of GRITS system
• Prepare & administer vaccines according to office policy and procedures
• Work as a medical assistant as needed
