Vacancy for Program Officer for Sustainable Digital Infrastructures at Educopia Institute

Location: Remote

Salary: $65,000 – 70,000

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Program Officer for Sustainable Digital Infrastructures will support Educopia’s research, consulting, and community cultivation efforts related to sustainable digital infrastructures. Responsibilities include capacity building and community development for the MetaArchive Cooperative, leading multi-organizational research projects focused on digital sustainability and infrastructure challenges, and providing expert consultation for digital curation efforts such as program evaluation, collections surveys, policy development, systems & interoperability mapping, and sustainability planning.

The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, capable of managing a diverse portfolio of priorities, and skilled in collaborative work with project teams and partners. The role requires responsible management of schedules and scope, data-informed decision-making, clear communication, commitment to anti-oppressive facilitation, and a relational understanding of infrastructure. Passion for community cultivation, collective action, knowledge management, program planning, and organizational development in the information landscape is essential.
