Job summary

Princeton City School District in Cincinnati, Ohio is hiring a Cook for the 2026-2027 school year to prepare and serve meals in the 6-12 building.

Work schedule is 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00am–2:00pm, over 190 school days; benefits package included.

Starting August 2026; ServSafe certification required; strong customer service, math, and teamwork skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Duties include preparing and serving food, POS operations, cleaning, inventory ordering, production records and HACCP documentation.
• Must comply with National School Programs and school district policies.
• ServSafe certification required and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Excellent customer service, math skills and team orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in a school kitchen.
• Operate POS system and manage monthly inventory.
• Maintain HACCP records and comply with nutrition programs.
• Support a collaborative kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: Duties include:Cook, prepare and serve food, computer/POS operations, clean-up, ordering monthly inventory, production records,and HACCP reports/documentation, comply with National School Programs, etc.

Requirements: ServSafe certification required. Knowledge of kitchen equipment. Must have excellent customer service skills, excellent math skills and be energetic working in a team environment.
