Position Summary

The Field Technician II (Vactor Operator) is responsible for operating Vactor trucks and high‑pressure jetting equipment to clean and maintain sewer and storm drainage systems. This role serves as a field leader by coordinating daily work activities, training helpers, maintaining equipment, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a strong safety culture.

What You’ll Do

Preferred
  • Two (2) or more years of sewer, storm drainage, underground utility, or related field experience.
  • Experience operating Vactor trucks, vacuum trucks, or high‑pressure jetting equipment.
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience reading utility maps and construction plans.
  • Experience leading field crews or training employees.

This position requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and environments, including:

  • Commercial and industrial facilities
  • Confined spaces
  • Wet and muddy conditions
  • Active traffic areas

Employees may be exposed to wastewater, noise, heavy equipment, and other job‑site hazards. Comprehensive training and safety equipment are provided.
