Summary

We are hiring Certified PCA and HHA Caregivers to provide 1:1 patient care for our in-home VA patients in the Monticello, NY area. We offer a variety of hours, benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Starting pay rate: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, personal hygiene assistance, and household help to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

  • Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
  • Drive safely, adhere to traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers from bed to chair or wheelchair. Assist with bedpan, commode, and toilet use.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

  • Six months of home care experience preferred
  • PCA or HHA certification in NY required
