Summary

We are hiring Certified PCA and HHA Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care with our in-home VA patients in the New Windsor, NY area. We offer a variety of hours, benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Special rates for VA cases.

Starting pay rate: $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

  • Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
  • Drive safely, comply with traffic laws, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers between bed, chair, and wheelchair. Assist with use of bedpan, commode, and toilet.
Education and Experience

Experience Desired:

  • Six months of home care experience preferred.
  • NY PCA or HHA certification required.

Skill Requirements:

  • Flexible hours to meet patient needs.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to any home situation.
  • Good multitasking, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to organizational goals.
