Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when travel is required.
• May assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, and transferring patients.
• Assists with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months experience in home care preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet patient needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.
• Able to work independently.
• Good multi-tasking, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Disposition and personality suited for harmonious work with diverse individuals and confidentiality.
