Job summary

SIRIS, LLC is seeking a Construction Administrator (Exempt) to support a major healthcare government programs construction initiative at the VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. The role reports to the Program Manager and interfaces with VA staff and contractors to generate reports and manage data.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of construction administration experience in healthcare or institutional settings, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in construction administration or construction management.
• Experience in regulated environments (federal, healthcare, or institutional) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor project financial data, budget performance, and cost trends.
• Review construction schedules and support progress and performance evaluations.
• Participate in progress meetings and support issue identification and resolution.
• Review testing, inspection, and quality assurance documentation for compliance.
• Support claims administration, change management, and contract modifications.
• Review contractor work documentation and reported progress for conformance with construction documents and schedules.
• Prepare analytical reports, correspondence, and program status documentation.
• Maintain tracking tools and reporting systems supporting program oversight.
• Advise leadership on construction administration best practices and compliance considerations.
