Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP or PA to conduct VA General Medicine examinations, review veterans' records, and complete DBQs under VA guidelines.

You will document objective findings, prepare detailed medical reports, and ensure HIPAA and all applicable regulations are followed while collaborating with clinical teams to stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to clinical protocols.

• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
