Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring caregivers to support VA cases with Veterans in the Richmond area. Hours vary, typically short morning shifts (2–4 hours). Location includes Sandston, Henrico, Midlothian, Brandermill. We seek compassionate, reliable aides to join a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the US with required documents.
• Certification of Completion from an approved 40 hour PCA class.
• CNA license, if applicable.
• PD/TB test or Chest X-ray within 5 years; willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to clients in the Richmond area as a PCA or CNA.
• Maintain compassionate, dependable service to veterans and families.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as needed.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in US. (Social Security Card, Passport, Driver’s License, Birth Certificate etc.)
• Certification of Completion from an approved 40 hour PCA class
• CNA license, if applicable
• PPD/TB test or Chest X-ray (less than 5 years) (Willing to obtain within 60 days of hire)
• Reliable transportation
• First Aid/CPR card (Willing to obtain within 60 days of hire)
