Job summary

Advanced Sciences and Technologies seeks a V&V / Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer for NAS terminal automation systems, onsite at WJHTC FAA, Atlantic City, NJ. The role supports OT&E activities and develops/test procedures and reports.

The candidate should have a relevant degree or 5 years of experience, plus experience in NAS automation testing, software/lab testing, and strong communication skills for technical audiences. FAA test processes are a plus.

Qualifications

V&V /Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer - looking for various levels of experience

Location: WJHTC FAA, Atlantic City, NJ ONSITE

Duties to be Performed: Support the Operational Test & Evolution (OT&E) of NAS Terminal Automation Systems used by personnel at FAA ARTCC, TRACON, ATCT & DoD facilities; Follow Test Processes/Best Practices; Develop/Review Test Procedures, System Docs; Assist in identifying, analyzing, coordinating, resolving & reporting the resolution of implementation issues generated by projects.

Qualifications - Minimum Required: Relevant Exp & Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Physical Sciences, Comp Sci, Info Sys/Technology, Engineering, Business Admin, Finance or other related/relevant discipline) or 5 yrs relevant exp may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree. Team-Oriented and Ability to Communicate technical info orally/in writing for a wide audience.

Previous Experience Required: Experience/Familiarity testing NAS automation systems; SW Development, LAN Debug/Testing; Reviewing, analyzing system/program requirements, identifying program risks/issues and mitigation strategies; develop test approach & schedules; developing/peer reviewing Test Plans/Reports, TEMPs; familiar w/ AT concepts and FAA Test & Evaluation Processes a plus.
