Verification and Validation Test Engineer (Pomona, NJ)

Support the Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test & Evolution (OT&E) of the FAA Traffic Flow Management System; Follow Test Processes/Best Practices; Develop/Review Test Procedures, SystemDocs; Assist in identifying, analyzing, coordinating, resolving & reporting the resolution of system improvements and defect resolution.

Qualifications

• Years of experience: searching for all levels of experience
• Minimum Required: Relevant Exp & Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Physical Sciences, Comp Sci, Info Sys/Technology, Engineering, Business Admin, Finance or other related/relevant discipline) or 5 yrs relevant exp may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree.
• Team-Oriented and Ability to Communicate technical info orally/in writing for a wide audience.

Previous Experience Required

• Review Baseline Change Request (BCR) documentation, Use Case, related Automated Information Management System (AIMS), TFMS Deployment Team TFMDT provided documents, mockups, and any other related document to understand the change/enhancement.
• Asses system trouble reports and software corrections to develop complex test procedures to validate the software correction effectiveness.
• Enter findings into the Automated Issues Management System (AIMS).
• Perform regression testing and document test results.
• Observe OEM test events, document observations and provide recommendations to FAA for action.

Desired Experience Required

• Knowledge of the Traffic Flow Management System.
• Experience performing test activities per the WJHTC testing methodologies.
• Review and comment on OEM deliverables to the FAA.
• Create or modify test tools or simulators.
• Perform testing at operational locations.
