Job summary

Enovis Corporation in Austin seeks a detail-oriented Verification & Validation Engineer to verify software and system functionality for medical devices. You will collaborate with Software, Systems, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development to develop test strategies and document results.

The role requires strong technical writing, analytical thinking, and experience in a regulated medical device environment, with involvement in Agile processes and product releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software verification and validation or medical device development.
• Experience in regulated industries (medical devices preferred).
• Knowledge of SDLC and V&V methodologies.
• Experience creating test plans, protocols, and verification reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain V&V test plans, protocols, and reports for software and system requirements.
• Review requirements, software specs, and design docs to craft test cases and strategies.
• Perform hands-on verification and validation testing for new and existing products.
• Document test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with medical device standards.
• Support Agile ceremonies and communicate testing progress and risks to leadership.
• Track testing progress and maintain defect logs to ensure on-time releases.
• Assist with test planning, automation, and continuous process improvements.
