Job summary

Permobil is seeking an Associate V&I Assembler 1 in Belleville, IL. The role involves final assembly of cushions and IFC components, including inflating cushions, inserting valves and grommets, and ensuring quality per procedures. You will read work orders, follow diagrams, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assemble quality product by gluing hoses with valves into cushions and fitting components according to procedures.
• Inspect and clean cushions, fill out work orders, insert grommets, snap mattresses and inflate cushions.
• Hang cushions on the trolley line and apply labels on ISO Flow; build/install IFC valves as needed.
• Assist in IFC installation/assembly when short-handed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety policies.
• Contribute to team effort with good attendance and cross-functional collaboration.
