PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO and Houston, TX is seeking a Design Engineering Internship to support the design team in aero turbine components. You will engage in reverse engineering, perform hand calculations, and contribute to simulations using SolidWorks or CREO, ANSYS, and related tools.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will work at our Sedalia, MO facility or our Houston, TX site, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative manufacturing and life‑cycle solutions.

The Design Engineering Internship role involves assisting the Design Engineering Team in the creation of innovative solutions in Aero Turbine Component through reverse engineering tools. Tasks may include many aspects of design concept (SolidWorks or CREO), mechanical analyses (hand calculations, ANSYS, etc.), mechanical drawings (GD&T), material analysis (heat treatment, etc.), and manufacturing processes (welding, shotpeening, coating, etc.).
