Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Repair/Mod Technician (Level C) for a contract opportunity at NAS North Island, CA. The role requires hands-on repair, modification and testing of aerospace components with a focus on V-22 systems.

Responsibilities include assembling, disassembling and testing assemblies, troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical subsystems, and documenting results to meet contractual and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with V-22 Maintenance/Modification.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety).
• Knowledgeable in V-22 maintenance, modification and repair including Electrical/Aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, disassembles and modifies aerospace components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Performs validation/verification testing and documents results for compliance.
• Inspects components for flight worthiness and supports training.
• Independently performs tests and solves problems using diagnostic equipment to isolate failures.
• Documents repairs and inspections with detailed instructions and processes.
• Coordinates with engineering and customers as needed.
