Bay West seeks a UXO Technician I for MEC support on a Pueblo, CO project. You will operate site vehicles, learn MEC procedures, and assist in demilitarization activities and MPPEH inspections under safety standards.

Requirements include HAZWOPER training, relevant EOD education, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Some travel to client sites nationwide may be required.

Qualifications

• Hazardous waste operation training required (HAZWOPER).
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle background check.
• Graduate of EOD school or equivalent UXO Technician Level I training per DoD TP-18.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsabilités

• Operate safely the vehicle assigned for site access and duties.
• Receive on-the-job training with MEC-related equipment and procedures.
• Assist on-site demilitarization of MEC and handling of demolition materials.
• Assist in MPPEH inspections per DoD safety standards and policies.
