Seeking UXO Quality Control Supervisor candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Technical Element or Contract W‑2 (IRS‑1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full‑Time ProSidian employed W‑2 Position.
Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (UXO Quality Control Supervisor) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD – USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS – Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Unexploded Ordnance Qualified Personnel: The Senior Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor (SUXOS), Unexploded Ordnance Safety Officer (UXOSO), and Unexploded Ordnance Quality Control Supervisor (UXOQC) (Resumes may be required at the task order level) shall be employees of ProSidian Consulting (The Prime Contractor) or submit a Letter of Commitment signed by the UXO employee at the time of Task Order RFP.
The designee shall be qualified IAW DDESB TP 18.
UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE TECHNICIAN (UXO): A UXO Technician is responsible for the detection, identification, risk assessment, and safe disposal of unexploded ordnance and explosive remnants of war.
Senior Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor (SUXOS): Oversees all UXO operations on a project site, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and managing the UXO team.
Unexploded Ordnance Safety Officer (UXOSO): Responsible for enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring all UXO operations are performed safely and in accordance with regulations.
Unexploded Ordnance Quality Control Supervisor (UXOQC): Oversees and verifies the quality of UXO operations, ensuring all activities meet the required safety and operational standards.
These roles are critical in projects involving the handling and disposal of unexploded ordnance, particularly in ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards and guidelines such as those outlined in DDESB TP 18.

Key Points about DDESB TP 18:
Standard Qualifications:
7+ years in UXO quality control; certifications such as UXO Technician III or IV required. High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills Required: Quality control, inspection techniques, documentation, attention to detail. Professional Licensure: UXO Technician III or IV certification, Quality Control Certification.
Permits/Licenses: Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
Work products shall be thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented, complying with established criteria. All employees in performing their respective responsibilities shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones and delivery schedules as outlined.
