UX (User Experience) Designer Researcher

Collaborate closely with Business and IT teams to validate and advance innovative, strategic digital solutions that drive tangible commercial impact.

You will drive tangible commercial impact by bridging the gap between innovation and market readiness through multi-method research and hands-on design, delivering user-centric, high-impact solutions.

Play a pivotal role in shaping the studio’s success.

The Senior UX Designer employs advanced research methods to conduct ethnographic studies, evaluative research, and generate innovative ideas that create a vision. You will guide the team in applying research techniques, defining user journeys, and user stories, and clarifying abstract user needs.

Collaborating with Product Owners and development teams, you will align stakeholders with the product vision and user-centered goals, continuously improving product concepts and coaching others.

Compensation Data

This position offers a base salary typically between $115,000 and $181,000. It may be eligible for performance-based bonuses or other compensation elements. For benefits details, please click here.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research using state-of-the-art methodologies, develop and define concepts for innovative user experiences, considering legal and regulatory requirements. Define user stories and journeys with rapid iteration.
  • Articulate complex user needs clearly and manage the business partner product vision through research and user testing experiences.
  • Consult with and influence stakeholders across levels to incorporate user-centric design approaches in process and IT solutions. Design and deliver wireframes and mockups with rapid iterations. Drive decisions and contribute to proposals for business processes and system configurations.
  • Work closely with technical teams using agile methodologies to develop system customizations ensuring usability, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • Create prototypes demonstrating user flows and interactions, conduct usability tests, and pursue continuous user experience improvements.
  • Independently facilitate workshops and drive UX activities. Mentor junior designers. Demonstrate a track record of shipped digital products across platforms.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in design, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on UX design experience, focusing on user research. Education and experience may be updated after HR review.
  • Self-driven, capable of thriving in high-impact, startup-like environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex ideas across diverse teams.
  • Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry or similar, and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Skilled in translating user insights into intuitive, high-impact designs across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced in leading UX for emerging products, emphasizing user-centered design and rapid iteration.
  • Core strengths include stakeholder management, advanced proficiency in Figma and prototyping, expertise in user research and usability testing, ability to simplify workflows into elegant UI, and effective communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Abilities

Knowledge of pharmaceutical or digital healthcare technology domains, experience in multinational organizations, and a dynamic, adaptable mindset. Potential to grow into roles such as Agile Coach, Data Scientist, or Frontend Developer.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
  • Willing to undergo drug testing and physical exam if required.
  • At least 18 years old.
