VATIK is a results-driven marketing and web agency based in Norfolk, VA. We build high-converting websites for service-based businesses, primarily contractors and local service companies.

We are not looking for a hobbyist.

We are looking for a serious web designer who understands conversion, structure, and user behavior. If your portfolio is mostly SaaS dashboards, crypto projects, or e-commerce stores, this is not the role for you.

Our first objective: a full redesign of our own site.

If you can’t confidently say you can improve it, don’t apply.

What You’ll Do

• Design responsive, conversion-focused websites and landing pages
• Create clean, strategic mockups and prototypes in Figma before build
• Own design direction without needing constant input
• Implement or update sites using builders like Elementor, Webflow, or similar
• Align UX with SEO and marketing strategy
• Occasionally create supporting assets (icons, banners, pop-ups)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong portfolio of service-based website projects (contractors, construction, law, medical, local services)
• Proficiency in Figma
• Deep understanding of mobile-first UX and user flow
• Clear grasp of basic SEO structure (hierarchy, internal linking, layout for search intent)
• Ability to perform independently at a high level

Bonus

• Familiarity with CRO principles
• Experience reviewing Analytics or user behavior data
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Remote, flexible work
• Creative autonomy and ownership
• Low-ego, high-performance team
