UX/UI Developer (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

Join our dynamic team of engineers dedicated to supporting the Azure commercial marketplace. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals and businesses in selling products online through Azure. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components using React.js and ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop user interface components with React.js, leveraging TypeScript for type safety and code maintainability.
• Collaborate on application architecture, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Implement features and interfaces using React and TypeScript, optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work with Azure Static Web Apps for hosting and automating deployments.
• Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimized for performance.
• Contribute to code reviews to uphold development standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• Proficient in React.js, TypeScript, and the development of scalable web applications.
• Experienced with Azure Static Web Apps, including deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience building user interfaces with opinionated design systems.
• Integration of a microfrontend within multi-tenant architecture.
• Rapid prototyping using mock APIs.
