Job summary

Wollborg Michelson Recruiting is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer for a remote, 3+ month assignment in the United States. You will design and develop intuitive interfaces for web and mobile, own the end-to-end design process from research to hi-fidelity mockups, and collaborate with product, research, and content teams.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Figma, creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and responsive designs, with 5–7 years in UX/UI or product design.

UX/UI Designer Assignment 3+ months Pay - $63.45/hr Remote

Job Summary

Design and develop intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile products based on end-user needs, research insights, business objectives, and software requirements. Own the end-to-end design process from interpreting research and requirements through wireframes, prototypes, and final development-ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Content Designers, UX team members, stakeholders, and business partners to understand user needs and product requirements.
• Interpret user research, business requirements, and product needs and translate findings into effective design solutions.
• Own the end-to-end product design process, including ideation, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI designs, and development-ready deliverables.
• Create and iterate on designs in Figma, using and extending established design systems.
• Design responsive experiences for web, member portal, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with research and content teams rather than working independently in a design silo.
• Manage approximately 3 4 concurrent projects, balancing priorities, deadlines, and changing requirements.
• Proactively communicate project status, design decisions, risks, dependencies, and timeline updates.
• Partner with product and development teams to support implementation and ensure designs are translated accurately into the final product.
• Maintain strong organization and attention to detail while working across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Communications, Psychology, Art, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 7 years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience.
• Demonstrated experience owning designs throughout the full product design lifecycle, from research interpretation through final UI.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Figma.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with UX Research, Content Design, Product Management, and development teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent design projects and priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and provide project updates.
• Ability to work effectively with a collaborative, cross-functional team.
