UX/UI Designer - BrewIQ Platform

About Sennos
Sennos revolutionizes fermentation management with our AI-powered BrewIQ platform, providing brewers with real-time insights to brew smarter, scale faster, and waste less.

The Role
Lead intuitive user experiences across our web, mobile, and cloud platforms. You'll collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Marketing to conduct user research, design seamless customer journeys, and create compelling visual assets that make complex fermentation data accessible and actionable for brewing professionals. This position allows for remote work and will require occasional travel to the home office in Durham, North Carolina or other locations.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research: Conduct interviews, usability testing, and develop personas to inform design decisions
• Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications
• AI-Enhanced Workflows: Leverage AI-powered design tools to rapidly generate mockups and streamline design processes
• Data Visualization: Design dashboards and visualizations that make complex fermentation data comprehensible
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain cohesive design systems ensuring consistency across platforms
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Present design rationale to stakeholders and partner with developers on implementation

What You Bring

Required:

• 4-8 years UX/UI design experience for web and mobile applications
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process with measurable user impact
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with AI-powered design platforms
• Strong responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design systems experience
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills for communicating design concepts
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a valid passport or real-ID and the ability to travel within the US

Preferred:

• Experience in brewing, manufacturing, or B2B/Enterprise applications
• Data visualization expertise for complex numerical datasets
• Knowledge of front-end development constraints (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Experience with AI design tools (UX Pilot, Galileo AI, Visily, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney)
• Motion design and animation capabilities
• Prompt engineering skills for AI-assisted design workflows
• Competitive analysis and localization implementation experience
• Experience in a rapidly changing start-up environment
