Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in HCI, Psychology, Design Research, or related field.
• 5+ years of UX research experience in product development environments.
• Ability to scope a research process, gather insights from secondary research, lead fieldwork, and conduct in-context interviews.
• Experience with mobile apps, connected devices, or wearables.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to influence design and product decisions with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute UX research studies to inform development of mobile and watch apps.
• Use interviews, observations, diary studies, prototypes, surveys, and user tests at different stages.
• Partner with design to ideate, prototype, and iterate on new mobile and watch app features.
• Lead internal and external field research efforts.
• Leverage prior UX research programs to inform development and avoid past pitfalls.
• Help define timelines, facilitate progress, and ensure projects reach goals.
• Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations shaping strategy and roadmap.
• Be a through-line of consumer knowledge and trends as a primary source for what's new.
