Job summary

Google is seeking a User Experience Researcher to join a team that blends UX designers, researchers, writers, content managers, program managers and engineers. You will plan and conduct studies, including interviews, surveys, ethnography, usability tests, and field studies, to inform product direction.

You will collaborate with product managers and developers to translate insights into actionable recommendations, shaping strategy and improving the user experience across Google's products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sociology, CS, statistics, psychology, anthropology or related field, or relevant experience.
• Experience with research methods, including case studies, interviews and surveys.
• Experience in an applied research environment.

Responsibilities

• As User Experience Researcher, plan, design and conduct UX research to inform requirements and evaluate concepts.
• Communicate research activities with partners and align business requirements with user needs.
• Drive change by making research results compelling and actionable for teams.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, PMs and engineers across product areas.
