Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a UX Researcher, Consumer in United States.

In this role, you will lead research initiatives to understand user behavior, needs, and experiences across consumer-facing products. You will design and conduct qualitative research studies that inform product strategy, improve engagement, and enhance the user experience for new and existing users. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence executive decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to have high visibility and impact, helping shape product design and user experiences at scale while working in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

Accountabilities

  • Design and execute high-quality qualitative research studies, including interviews, concept testing, and behavioral analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, data science, and product management to inform product decisions.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights that drive product strategy and improve the user experience.
  • Communicate research outcomes clearly through compelling narratives and presentations to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support lifecycle research initiatives to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Advocate for user-centered design and evidence-based decision-making across product teams.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Behavioral Science, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting consumer-focused qualitative research on embedded product teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methods, with the ability to apply them effectively at each stage of product development.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to balance multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with experience influencing strategy in cross-functional settings.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities and environments.
