Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Mid-level UX Engineer to advance Platform and Service Experience. You will prototype features, author agentic skills, and partner with UX Researchers to evaluate AI-driven UX in production-grade interfaces.

Joining a multi-disciplinary team in Sunnyvale, you will bridge design and engineering across Web and other platforms, drive prototypes on CDS components, and help scale AI-enabled experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in front-end development, UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience in front-end development and application prototyping using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Experience in application development in one or more platform/area (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).

Responsibilities

• Author bespoke skills, tool definitions, and orchestration flows that enable AI agents to safely solve complex cloud infrastructure problems.
• Design and prototype benchmarking harnesses with UX Researchers to evaluate agent accuracy and usability.
• Co-architect schema-driven UI primitives to establish dynamic visual building blocks used by autonomous backend agents.
• Build high-fidelity, spec-driven prototypes on standard Google3 architectures and CDS components.
• Drive technical alignment across UX, Research, Product, and Software Engineering, while establishing UX and Engineering standards across the Cloud Foundations community.
