Job summary

Google is hiring an Interaction Designer for YouTube Live in the San Bruno area. You will transform complex tasks into intuitive experiences across mobile and desktop, from user flows to prototypes, collaborating with engineering, product and UX researchers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive design for YouTube Live features across mobile and desktop from ideation to launch.
• Translate complex problems into intuitive, high-quality design solutions for live streaming and interactive experiences.
• Produce user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to define requirements and ensure feasibility and consistency.
• Leverage YouTube's design system to maintain visual coherence across features.

• Drive the design process for features within YouTube Live across mobile and desktop, from ideation to launch with minimal guidance.
• Translate complex problems and user needs into simple, high-quality, and intuitive design solutions for live streaming and interactive experiences.
• Produce a range of design artifacts, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes, effectively communicating design intent.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to define requirements, explore concepts, and ensure technical feasibility and design consistency.
• Utilize and contribute to YouTube's design system, ensuring visual and experiential coherence across YouTube Live features on both mobile and desktop.
