Job summary
Nightwing is seeking an experienced UX Expert to drive user-centered design for complex cyber and data systems in a security-focused environment. You will conduct research, develop wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborate with product managers, UI designers, and developers to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces.
A TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required, with a focus on accessibility and responsive design.
Qualifications
- 14 years of related experience required.
- 5 years' experience supporting the mission.
- Degrees may substitute: Bachelor/Associate; Master's via degree combination.
- Proven UX/UI design experience with a professional portfolio.
- Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Next.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with workflow design tools (ReactFlow, JointJS, Airflow, Prefect, Flowable).
- Mobile-first and responsive design mindset.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research via interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Create wireframes, personas, journey maps, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Design intuitive interfaces and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.
- Ensure accessibility standards are integrated and assessed.
- Present findings and design concepts to stakeholders with clarity.
- Hand off design assets and specifications to the development team.
