Job summary

Taara Connect, Inc. is seeking a UX Designer to shape how field technicians, partners, and internal teams interact with Taara’s products in Sunnyvale.

You will translate complex technical concepts into clear experiences, reduce friction, and build trust through data-informed design decisions. You’ll own information architecture, workflows, and the design system, collaborating with product and engineering to ensure consistency across tools and marketing materials while driving adoption of UX

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX design experience.
• Ability to create information architecture, workflow diagrams, user journeys, and prototypes.
• Strong experience with design systems, including building, maintaining, and driving adoption.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Skilled in prototyping, low- to high-fidelity, for both exploration and communication.
• Experience applying data-driven decision making and running structured feedback loops.
• Skilled in presenting design rationale, facilitating cross-functional working sessions, and communicating UX decisions through clear storytelling

Responsibilities

• Design clear, end-to-end workflows for complex technical tasks.
• Conduct user research to understand real-world needs, pain points, and mental models; turn insights into actionable design direction.
• Advocate for the full user experience, addressing real workflows around ordering, receiving, installation, setup, configuration, usage, and support.
• Contribute to and maintain Taara’s design system across products.
• Develop information architecture and navigation that makes technical processes understandable for all user roles.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to clarify requirements and validate feasibility.
• Run usability testing to validate assumptions and data-based design decisions.
• Support cross-product alignment to ensure consistent UX across tools and marketing materials.
• Communicate UX direction through flows, prototypes, and design artifacts.
• Bring an AI-native approach to research synthesis, content, and rapid iteration.
