Job summary

Urban Legend in Alexandria, VA is seeking a hands-on UX Designer to join our product team and report to the SVP, Product. You will shape experiences across creator, campaign, advertiser tools, and analytics on mobile and web.

This role emphasizes craft, ownership of the design system in Figma, collaboration with product and engineering, and turning requirements into clear interfaces with consistent on-brand copy.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of product or UX design experience
• A portfolio of shipped product work across mobile and web
• Deep proficiency in Figma: components, variants, auto-layout, prototypes
• Experience building or contributing to a design system
• Strong visual and interaction sensibility
• Ability to communicate with engineers about responsive behavior and tradeoffs
• Bias toward action and startup/creator economy experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product experiences for features across the platform
• Build and own the design system in Figma
• Deliver build-ready files with annotations and edge cases
• Design for mobile and web with native-feel experiences
• Turn PRDs into information architecture and on-brand interface copy
• Participate in discovery activities and usability testing
• Run design QA and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
• Improve internal tooling and ops workflows through design
