Job summary

Amazon is seeking a versatile UX Designer for the Devices & Services Experience Design (DxD) team focused on the Echo family and related devices. You will collaborate across design, product, and engineering to craft end-to-end experiences, from ideation to high-fidelity prototypes and seamless integration with devices.

The role requires 3+ years delivering UX design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design.

Responsibilities

• Bring product concepts to life through high fidelity visuals, motion, videos, and interaction prototyping.
• Navigate all phases of the design cycle—from discovery and ideation through refinement and execution.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including research, product management, developers and design leaders and communicate design strategy through compelling storytelling.
• Thrive in ambiguity, generating divergent concepts while identifying compelling ideas worth deeper exploration.
• Synthesize industry trends, customer needs, and competitive insights into meaningful experiences.
• Balance collaborative teamwork with autonomous execution in a small, highly skilled team.
