Job summary
Jobtailor in Chicago is seeking a senior UX/Product designer to own end-to-end UX for complex consumer and merchant products, from discovery through handoff and post-launch iteration. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering on roadmap, run user research, translate insights into flows, IA, and interactions, and evolve the design system while upholding WCAG 2.1 AA and brand standards.

Qualifications
- Design-driven thinker with strong user research capabilities.
- Experience shipping UX for consumer or B2B SaaS across native and web.
- Proficiency in presenting design decisions to leadership.
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and accessibility WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Experience building or contributing to a design system.
Responsibilities
- Own UX end-to-end for complex products from discovery to post-launch.
- Collaborate with Product and Eng to balance user needs with constraints.
- Plan and run user research and iterate from data and feedback.
- Translate goals into flows, IA, and interaction patterns.
- Develop and evolve the design system across surfaces; uphold standards.
- Present work and secure buy-in with leadership and partners.
- Work with Engineering to ensure QA and brand alignment.
- Mentor peers and raise design quality across the org.
