Role

You will be a UX Designer on AWS Applied AI Solutions, responsible for designing intuitive, human-centered experiences for AI-native business applications. The role focuses on translating complex AI capabilities into proactive, adaptive, and trustworthy experiences while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create concepts and bring them to life through prototypes, motion, video, high-fidelity visuals, and emerging tools including AI-driven design and prototyping platforms.
• Contribute across the design lifecycle from discovery and ideation through prioritization, refinement, and narrative crafting to make complex ideas approachable.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, science, and senior leadership to align on user needs, system capabilities, and AI opportunities.
• Use human insights and AI-assisted exploration to generate and evaluate divergent concepts and identify promising directions.
• Stay informed on customer needs, industry shifts, and AI trends to shape forward-looking, value-driven design strategies.
• Synthesize inputs (user research, product signals, technical constraints, system behaviors) into actionable experience frameworks and scalable design patterns.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams, contribute to a culture of feedback and experimentation, and communicate design direction through storytelling, visuals, and interactive demos.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of design experience.
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience in usability testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a highly agile environment.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and working directly with developers to implement designs.
• Base salary range: 81,000 - 141,700 USD annually (location-dependent).
• Additional compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
