Job description

Craft is a verb here, and as our newest UX Designer in Shreveport, LA you'll be conjugating it with Conflict Resolution and Webflow every single day. This position rewards Creativity and Zeplin mastery with $42,000 - $64,000, team collaboration, and ownership of what you ship.

Key Responsibilities

• Prototype interface ideas fast enough to kill the weak ones cheaply
• Frame the design rationale so mid-level approvers feel smart agreeing with you
• Knead a clumsy stock photo into something that feels shot for Emerson
• Fold accessibility into the first sketch, not the final QA pass
• Leave a documented trail so the next creative inherits judgment, not just files
• Recast dry compliance copy as something a human might willingly read
• Storyboard and direct photo, video, and content shoots end to end

What You'll Bring

• An instinct for prioritization when everything is labeled urgent
• Sharp written and verbal communication, tested under scrutiny
• A collaborator's reflex to share credit and absorb blame
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team
• Mid-level-caliber judgment about when to elevate and when to absorb
• Comfort with the full-time cadence of a Shreveport-based operation
