About The Role
The role owns the end-to-end design of product experiences across web and native platforms — from early discovery and flows to polished, developer-ready specs. The domain is a data-heavy B2B product, so the work involves designing complex workflows, dashboards, and configuration interfaces where clarity and usability directly drive retention. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with product managers, engineers, and researchers in a dual-track model: validating concepts with users while shipping production-quality design in parallel. The team treats design as an input to strategy, not a polish step at the end.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX for major product areas: discovery research, journey mapping, interaction design, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Design complex, data-dense interfaces — dashboards, workflows, and admin tools — in Figma, with clear component specs and edge-case documentation for engineering handoff
- Plan and run moderated usability studies, 5+ participant rounds, and unmoderated tests using tools like UserTesting or Maze; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
- Contribute to and evolve the design system, partnering with engineering to define tokens, components, and interaction patterns that scale
- Partner with PMs and data analysts to define success metrics for shipped features and run post-launch validation (A/B tests, funnel analysis, session recordings)
- Present design decisions and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, incorporating feedback without losing the underlying user needs
- Audit existing product surfaces for accessibility gaps and ensure all deliverables meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of product design experience shipping software used at scale, ideally with B2B SaaS or data-heavy products
- A strong, functional portfolio demonstrating process from problem framing through shipped outcomes — not just visual polish
- Expert-level Figma skills including auto layout, variables, and prototyping for usability testing
- Hands‑on experience planning and executing both qualitative and quantitative user research, with the judgment to know when each is appropriate
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive/native platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material)
- BA/BS in HCI, Interaction Design, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with design systems maintenance, front‑end literacy (HTML/CSS basics), or motion/interaction prototyping in tools like Framer or Principle
