Job summary

Momento USA LLC is seeking an experienced UX Designer for a client based in Manhattan, NY. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and strong collaboration with product, analysis, and front-end teams.

The position requires 8–12 years of UX or product design experience, a robust portfolio, and proficiency with design systems, Figma, and React. You will conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and ensure accessibility and usability throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in UX or product design for web applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process.
• Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools.
• Experience with design systems and component-based front-end frameworks such as React.
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with enterprise or data-heavy applications is a plus.

Leads onsite user experience design for the engagement, creating intuitive, accessible interfaces in close collaboration with product, business analysis and front-end engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews and usability testing
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
• Define and maintain design systems and reusable component libraries
• Collaborate with Front-End (React) and UI developers to ensure accurate implementation
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Present design concepts and rationale to client stakeholders
• Iterate designs based on feedback and analytics
• Coordinate with the offshore UX Designer on handoffs and design continuity
