Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a UX Design Manager to drive product strategy and simplify complex workflows across Google Ads. You will mentor designers, partner with Engineering and Product Management, and champion brand, craft, and execution at scale, shaping ecosystem-level UX in an AI-enabled era.

You will guide career development of your reports, transform workflows into elegant experiences, and collaborate with Research and DeepMind to solve grand challenges in advertising technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
• 5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
• Experience in visual and graphic design.
• Experience in AI-enabled design processes.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Responsibilities

• Define the design language strategy and modernize core products for the AI era alongside Ads leadership.
• Guide the global visual narrative and design showcases, orchestrating cross-product user experiences and executive demonstrations.
• Establish standard styles, components, and patterns across front-end frameworks to balance consumer-grade craft with data density.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering leads on automated UI standardization and token tooling for massive-scale migrations.
• Manage, inspire, and mentor multidisciplinary teams as a player/coach, balancing people leadership with visual design.
