Job summary

Google aims to hire an experienced Interaction Designer to transform complex tasks into intuitive, scalable experiences for billions. You will create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to bring product experiences to life.

You will apply user-centered design methods from concept to execution, evolving the Google design language within the BAM group and across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.

Responsibilities

• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize, test, and refine Google product features.
• Partner closely with executive UX designers, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders to present work, build alignment, and drive design projects.
• Leverage user research insights, support activities, and stakeholder feedback to continuously iterate and refine design solutions.
• Develop deep product domain knowledge to solve user issues and business goals, while incorporating UX trends and technologies.
• Share learnings, best practices, and work-stream insights to foster connection within the broader Google UX community.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Master's degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related field
