An early-stage start-up is seeking a UX Design Lead to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $150-200K

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design experience for web and mobile, ensuring a seamless and visually compelling user journey.
• Conduct user interviews to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create designs that enhance user experience and maintain brand consistency.
• Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, and Tailwind.
• Be hands-on with any aspect of the product, from design to implementation.

Qualifications:

Required

• Experience at a seed stage startup with less than 10 people, building and shipping products from the ground up, thriving in ambiguous environments where you define your own roadmap and execute quickly.
• Experience in web design and front-end development.
• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

• Experience with front-end frameworks or libraries.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
