Job summary

Entergy is seeking a User Experience Design Intern to support the AMP project in New Orleans. You will work with a small design team to turn complex AI challenges into intuitive experiences for our internal tools.

The role blends UX design and user research, requiring collaboration, rapid prototyping, wireframes, and feedback with stakeholders. Active enrollment in a relevant degree with a 2.8 GPA is required.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in design, computer engineering, or related field.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified via official transcript.

Responsibilities

• Support AMP product designers with UX tasks.
• Conduct qualitative research to understand user interactions.
• Interview users across departments to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Synthesize findings into clear insights for design decisions.
• Generate feature ideas and design recommendations from user feedback.
• Create and refine wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Test and validate design solutions with users and stakeholders.
• Present concepts and findings to the team and iterate accordingly.
• Contribute to the evolving design system to support scalable product development.
