A leading property casualty insurer seeks an Underwriting Officer for Inland Marine. Responsible for developing underwriting strategies and leading the team to maximize profit and retention. The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
$142,500.00 - $235,100.00

Underwriting

Inland Marine provides protection for business properties that are mobile in nature or require unique valuation. Coverages extend to properties that are owned or in a business's care related to construction, transportation, fine art, and renewable energy.
As an Underwriting Officer, Inland Marine, you are an underwriting subject matter expert and integral member of a field leadership team. By leveraging your expertise to educate underwriters, lead Collaborative Underwriting Review Evaluations (CUREs), and drive the development and successful execution of underwriting strategies, you will influence the overall profitability, growth, and retention of business for an assigned group.
