Job summary

DHL is seeking a Shop Production Assistant to prepare products for UV printing and laser production within our new customization operation. This hands-on role focuses on product preparation, quality inspection, and maintaining an efficient production workflow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with production equipment, and capable of following technical specifications. Role includes first shift hours in Memphis, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and quality-focused candidate for production environment.
• Experience with UV printers or related production equipment.
• Able to read and follow technical specifications.
• Basic computer literacy to operate printer software and systems.
• Willing to work first shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, count, stage and prepare products for UV printing and laser production.
• Clean and inspect product surfaces for defects, flatness, and print readiness.
• Apply adhesion promoter to ensure proper UV ink bonding.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure products meet standards.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and quality before repackaging.
• Perform sample tests and communicate defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area, following PPE guidelines.
