The Research assistant will be responsible to help the research team with weighing birds, taking samples, cleaning and maintaining facilities and equipment, collecting mortality, recording data, typing data in the computer, and aid with basic laboratory analysis.

Work Schedule M-F 9AM-5PM (32 hours)
Other Work/Responsibilities
- Other duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with animals
- Basic knowledge of biosecurity practices and facility sanitation a plus

- Committed to the care and well-being of animals
- Maintains high standards of biosecurity and facility cleanliness
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- 1–2 years of experience working with animals in an agricultural, veterinary, or research setting
