Avenues Recovery Center in New Jersey is seeking a Utilization Review Specialist to join our corporate team. You will manage authorizations, ensure the appropriate level of care, and collaborate with billing and clinical departments to maintain accurate documentation across facilities.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work across clinical, administrative, and billing teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Nursing background or healthcare knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field UR requests and authorizations across facilities.
• Ensure timely authorization and appropriate level of care.
• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams on UR issues.
• Maintain accurate UR documentation and records.
• Develop UR templates and workflows with site leaders.
