Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Utilization Review Specialist at its New Jersey corporate office. You will ensure timely authorizations and support appropriate level-of-care determinations across our network, coordinating with clinical and billing teams.

Strong communication and attention to detail are essential as you manage cases, maintain compliant documentation, and help improve UR workflows within a fast-paced behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Nursing background, clinical background or healthcare knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Authorize client services and ensure timely approvals.
• Support level-of-care determinations across facilities.
• Coordinate with billing, clinical, and administrative teams.
• Maintain UR documentation and ensure accuracy.
• Create standardized UR templates and workflows across facilities.
