Prime Therapeutics is hiring an Initial Review Pharmacy Technician to support utilization management and pharmacy operations. You will review requests for therapeutic appropriateness, gather clinical information from physicians and pharmacies, and determine medication reimbursement based on criteria and guidelines.

Competenze

• Associate's degree or equivalent; HS diploma required.
• 2+ years of Pharmacy Experience.
• Active pharmacy technician licensure/registration per state requirements and national certification (PTCB/ExCPT).

Mansioni

• Reviews patient information and assesses appropriateness using clinical criteria.
• Makes approval recommendations or referrals for cases not meeting criteria.
• Communicates with physicians, prescribers and pharmacies to obtain clinical information and resolve claims.
• Documents communications and updates in the system and supports ongoing program integrity audits.
