Job summary

Prime Therapeutics, a leading PBM, is seeking an Initial Review Pharmacy Technician. You will review prospective and retrospective requests for therapeutic appropriateness, contact physicians and patients, and determine medication reimbursement with a focus on specialty medications and industry guidelines.

The role requires pharmacy experience, state licensure, and strong communication. This is a full-time position with opportunities to contribute across departments and support program integrity

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of Pharmacy Experience.
• Active pharmacy technician licensure as per state requirements (or registration).
• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Health related field preferred or as per state allowances.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for therapeutic appropriateness using clinical criteria.
• Make approval recommendations for services meeting criteria.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and internal teams.
